Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation has awarded $100,000 to Kids in Need of Dentistry (KIND) for the 2015-2016 school year. Program integrates medical, dental care for the needy

9News reported on Worthmore Clinic in Aurora. Many patients at Worthmore Clinic are refugees who have resettled in the U.S. The clinic is one of 16 different medical clinics that are part of the Colorado Medical Dental Integration (CO MDI) project.  CO MDI brings free dental services to existing medical clinics serving low-income and needy populations across the state.

Summit Middle School now offers weekly low-cost dental care during summer

Summit Middle School has been shining smiles this summer. Thanks to start-up funding from a new grant, the Summit Community Care Clinic started providing low-cost preventative dental health care at the school over the summer for the first time. The clinic’s dental hygienists already have treated roughly 200 patients in June and July.COMDI_Logo

Dental Care Available at Leadville High School Health Center Throughout August

Leadville students are encouraged to take advantage of the last few weeks of summer and come back to school with healthy smiles. Summit Community Care Clinic’s Healthy Smiles Program is currently offering a variety of preventive dental health services at the new Lake County High School health center. Under the direction of registered dental hygienists Emily Milner, Amanda Hamilton and Megan Jackson, the services provided include oral health education, exams, regular cleanings, x-rays, fluoride varnishes and sealants.COMDI_Logo

Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics Expands Dental Care Hours at Aurora Clinic

Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics (RMYC) is now offering preventive dental health services at its Aurora Clinic four days each week. Dental care is available during sick visits or well-child checkups with RMYC medical providers as well as by appointment. RMYC sees children ages newborn – 18 at its Aurora Clinic.
