Raising a Reader Aspen to Parachute has received a grant from Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation that will support two existing programs: Bolsitas Rojas, a parent-child education program; and 123 Let's Read, a literacy-readiness program for preschool-age children. In addition, each student will receive an age-appropriate, bilingual oral health book and a toothbrush, toothpaste, and oral health guidance for their parents.

DENVER – Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation (DDCOF) is providing $2 million in funding this year to 34 Colorado nonprofit organizations, reaching 95,000 Coloradans. When the coronavirus struck the nation in March, Community Partnership Family Resource Center went into an immediate pivot.
Within a few days of the shutdown announcement, Jodi Mijares director of the nonprofit organization, and her staff, launched a food pantry. “As other agencies started closing, schools, churches, they brought us their food,” Mijares said. “So it just kind of happened.”
