At Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation, we know oral health is essential to overall health and well-being. Yet too many Coloradans face barriers to care based on who they are, where they live, or what they earn. That’s why we’re committed to advancing oral health equity across the state.

Our Focus Areas

Access

Increase access to oral health services by expanding Colorado’s oral health workforce through:

  • Oral health careers awareness for youth and adults
  • Establishing Colorado’s first dental therapy training program
Prevention

Deliver evidence-based preventive services, promote oral health education, and strengthen connections to a dental home for children (ages 0–9) and older adults (ages 60+), particularly those who are underserved or face barriers to accessing care. We also support efforts that integrate oral health into broader health systems and community settings.

Proactivty

Anticipate and address oral health needs and opportunities.
