The Holyoke Enterprise A dental clinic at Melissa Memorial Hospital gained a positive nod last week when it was announced that the hospital district will be receiving a $185,000 grant in a partnership with Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation.

Grant Funding to 10 Colorado Nonprofit Medical Practices to Provide Dental Services

April 9, 2018

Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation will provide $3.3 million in funding over four years to 10 Colorado nonprofit medical practices to integrate a dental hygienist into their medical teams to provide dental services. This funding is part of Wave II of DDCOF’s Colorado Medical-Dental Integration (CO MDI) Project, which seeks to improve the oral health of underserved Coloradans. Twenty-six medical practices have received funding from DDCOF through the CO MDI Project since it launched in 2015.

Statewide Survey Finds Significant Decline in Juice Consumption Among Colorado Children

The results of a new survey by Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation (DDCOF) show that while less Colorado children are consuming juice daily, fewer parents consider baby teeth as important as adult teeth and understand that cavities can spread from baby teeth to adult teeth.
